Metal Braces

Traditional wire braces are the most effective way to correct many different orthodontic issues. Unlike the bulky braces of the past, metal braces from the Antoine Dental Center are now sleeker and much more comfortable than before. Because they are smaller, they are much easier to wear and clean.

Traditional braces use metal brackets, wires, and bands to straighten your teeth and correct problems with your bite. On occasion,we will adjust and tighten these wires to ensure the best possible results. Traditional braces may take up to two years to be effective.

What are ceramic braces?

We also offer clear, ceramic braces as an alternative to traditional braces. These braces use brackets and wires constructed out of clear materials. While still using traditional bracket and wire orthodontics, clear braces are less visible in your smile. However, we recommend clear braces for older patients because they are more brittle than metal braces.

Invisalign

As we’ve mentioned before, we also offer Invisalign in Houston, TX. Invisalign is probably our most popular option for orthodontic treatment. Invisalign is best used to correct issues such as gapped teeth, crooked teeth, and misaligned teeth. The treatment is generally effective in about half the time as traditional wire braces or clear braces.

Invisalign is most effective for adult patients and older teenagers. Invisalign uses discreet, clear aligners to gently reposition your teeth little by little.
