Our dentures are different; they’re constructed out of premium materials and function like natural teeth.
In today’s blog post, we want to tell you about some of the various ways our dentures are superior to the options you can find elsewhere. Your smile and appearance is very important to us, and we always treat you like family.
Your Options for Dentures
We offer the latest in premium full dentures. Full dentures are designed to replace all of the teeth in your mouth. Our full dentures are a great option if you’re missing all your teeth, or if you’ve previously had dentures in the past.
You have several different options with full dentures, all of which vary a bit in the way they are made. All of them include a set of realistic-looking teeth in an artificial set of gums. We will carefully fit these dentures to your mouth in a special fitting appointment. As you age, you will likely need to replace your dentures due to the changing shape of your face.
We also offer partial dentures if you are only missing several teeth. Partial dentures are fairly similar to full dentures in how they are constructed; they also consists of artificial gums that contain false teeth. This is useful if you are missing several adjacent teeth. We then stabilize your partial dentures through a metal brace that anchors to your remaining teeth, or with a dental implant.
The Procedure for Dentures
If you’re a candidate for dentures, we will begin by taking digital x-rays of your mouth. This allows us to fully map out a plan for your dentures. We will also check you for any signs of gum disease or oral cancer. Once we have completed the initial appointment, your dentures will be manufactured at a state-of-the-art dental lab.
On occasion, some patients may also benefit from having their remaining teeth removed to allow room for full dentures. We’re happy to evaluate all your options with you, such as removing your remaining teeth, or replacing your missing teeth with other options such as dental implants. Because we offer all of these services in house, you don’t have to worry about us trying to hard-sell you on one particular solution.
